Bedroom in Rennie Court
The client had a utilitarian style bedroom which she wanted to become a sanctuary in their pied de terre flat in Central London.
A soft palette of grey, ochre and mahogany/walnut woods was selected for the colour palette for the bedroom.
We incorporated the clients existing chest of drawers, and introduced a beautiful oval mirror from Pinch, and brought it together by introducing the lovely Sonoma lounge chair from Maries Corner with a walnut back.
Bespoke curtains were made with a pelmet to again give a seamless elegant feel to the room, with a trim from Samuel & Sons to make them rather special.
It’s often hard to find the right design for an off the shelf bed spread so our fabulous curtain maker made a lovely one in linen with inverted pleated corners in yellow, and cushions.
We created a seamless wardrobe by making sliding doors for the existing Ikea wardrobe and having them spray painted the same colour as the walls, using a minimal ceiling lamp shade from John Lewis and having a bespoke radiator cabinet made and painted the same colour as the walls.
